Masters World Mountain Bike Champion Buys a Stradalli
Abraão Assis Azevedo, winner of a gold medal in the 2011 Masters World Mountain Bike event, has bought a Stradalli '29er' full carbon mountain bike.
November 27, 2012 (FPRC) -- Pompano Beach, Florida - Stradalli Cycle, the high performance carbon bicycle manufacturer, is pleased to announce that the Brazilian championship winning mountain biker Abraão Assis Azevedo has bought a Stradalli '29er' full carbon mountain bike.
Abraão is known throughout Brazil due to his success, at a national level, in cycling. He has been riding for many years and back in 1998 he was the Pan-American cross country champion. Since then he has enjoyed many victories and even today, nearly 15 years later, he is still enjoying success. In 2011 he won a gold medal during the World Masters Mountain Bike Championship and this year he took the silver medal.
Other victories in 2012 include a first place in the Brazil Ride, and becoming the cross country world masters champion. He was also the Brazilian national cross country masters champion this year.
Azevedo's choice of bike is now the 2013 Stradalli 29er. This full carbon fiber mountain bike is designed for racing and rough mountain trails. With its tapered head tube the '29er' has a significantly stiffened control center which improves all-round control authority. It also has a BB92 press fit bottom bracket meaning that it will outperform some of the biggest name brands on the market at a fraction of the cost.
“Abraão is a world class athlete who has won many top-level competitions. If there is someone who knows about mountain bikes, it is Abraão”, said Thomas Steinbacher of Stradalli. “It is a testament to the Stradalli 29er's design and build quality that an athlete like Azevedo has bought one.”
The Stradalli 29er's frame is 100% 3K carbon fiber with internally routed cables and the 29 inch wheels offer increased traction and better stability. A winning combination!
